The first edition of the “FestiVark. Festival of social creativity ". The festival, organized by Variabile K, a social enterprise and the Ente Ville Vesuviane Foundation, aims to expand the cultural offer of the Herculaneum area. For eight summer days - from 18.00 to midnight - the hermitage of Villa Campolieto will be home to a series of activities such as participatory architecture workshops, creative workshops (mosaic, recycling, construction of games), sports, open-air cinema, musical evenings and tables for the story of the territory. & nbsp;
It starts every day with Herculaneum love story: the story tables will be active from 18.00 to 20.00. Thanks to this activity, the popular diary will be created, a collection of stories that will make it possible to enhance the intangible culture and guide VarK's next tactical urbanism interventions: "We will ask citizens to indicate their favorite places, their memories linked to the city and specify which areas and would like to review redeveloped and how. In parallel there will also be sports activities (pilates or free body) and creative workshops. The varied offer is aimed at different targets and, thanks also to the presence of a bar service, allows users to stay in the splendid Villa Campolieto from the afternoon until midnight. & Nbsp;
The evening activities include film screenings or musical evenings which, thanks to the collaboration with the artist Vincenzo Gallo, will become 360 ° artistic performances. & nbsp;
Outdoor cinema, which is the answer to a need widely expressed by the citizens of Herculaneum, is a fundamental element of the festival. The first four dates of this activity that we hope will become a fixed appointment for the Resina summer will be:

The musical evenings include live bands of different genres and vinyl selecta (artists who select vinyls following structured searches focused on a single musical style). By virtue of the principle of "shared art" that guides the choices of Variabile K, during the musical evenings "4 happenings" will be presented, an artistic project that arises from the collaboration with the artist Vincenzo Gallo for the realization of four live performances.
During each evening a work of 200x300 cm size will be created based on Vincenzo Gallo's concept work "Animus - journey into an interior landscape". 4 Happenings aims to create moments in which art and music mix and stimulate each other for the creation of a real performative event. The completed works will be exhibited in 4 areas of the city of Herculaneum which will thus be the subject of urban redevelopment works.

Variable K, a newly established social enterprise made up of six young people from the area thus seeks to act to achieve its statutory objectives: to create spaces for aggregation and discussion where the community participates in the regeneration and care of common goods and opportunities to express one's creativity, develop one's talents, engage in manual activities for the reuse of spaces and materials, develop a greater knowledge of the territory by working as a team & nbsp; and increase the cultural offer of the city of Herculaneum.
The activities are free but do not include the entrance ticket to Villa Campolieto. The cost of the ticket is 5 euros and is valid for the two weekly evenings.
All the activities are carried out by Variabile K in co-design with the Ente Ville Vesuviane Foundation.
