From Cristina Donadio to Patrizio Rispo, from Enzo Avitabile, Joe Barbieri to Maurizio Casagrande. And again, a tribute to Maradona and much more. These are some of the novelties proposed by the theater season of the Mav Virtual Archaeological Museum of Herculaneum of the foundation of the same name chaired by Luigi Vicinanza: " Theater is joy, it is despair, it makes people laugh and cry - he says - and the Mav offers citizens a quality program " . After last year's success, the Mav's playbill between theater and music returns with the collaboration of Nino Daniele, who chose as its title " A New Season." Presenting it at the Mav yesterday was also the mayor of Herculaneum Ciro Buonajuto. The production is by Gianluigi Osteri's Gabbianella Club Events.
It starts on Nov. 17 with " Medea, dèsir" with Roberta Quarta and Simonetta Rotundo, directed by Fabio Tolledi. From Miles Davis to Stevie Wonder up to the unreleased dedicated to Troisi, this is the repertoire of Francesco Marziani's jazz trio in concert on Dec. 19. Chasing Chet Baker instead Antonello Cossia in the musical tale "Father & Son" staged on Dec. 4. Two days later Roberto Ciufoli stars in "Oh!diss'ea." The Christmas concert on Dec. 11 is given by Daniela Tenerini. He will perform live on Dec. 17 his new album, the 13th in the 30th anniversary of his career, instead Joe Barbieri entitled "Tratto da una notte vera." Maurizio Casagrande has chosen to be accompanied by pianist and singer Claudia Vietri and Ania Cecilia in the show " A tu per tre" staged Jan. 14. And if on Jan. 20 the stage is Sasà Mendoza with his quintet, on Jan. 27 Enzo Avitabile arrives at Mav with " Acoustic Tour" with Gianluigi Di Fenza on guitar and Emidio Ausiello on percussion.
On Feb. 4 on stage is the stable company of Antonio Nardiello in " Era destino," on Feb. 10 instead Anna Cinzia Villani in " Fimmene." Dedicated to Maradona is Paolo Cresta's show on Feb. 17 " Sine Diez - music for feet in love" with music by Astor Piazzolla, Bill Evans, Lucio Dalla, Enrico Valanzuolo and standards from the Argentine tradition. The show is signed by Stefano Valanzuolo. Here are comedians Ale and Franz on Feb. 27 with the show "Comincium." Paying homage to Joyce's Ulysses 100 years after its first publication on March 4, Cristina Donadio in "Duett for J.J. a J.J. for the 100th anniversary of his Ulysses," music by Maurizio Capone, text and direction by Raffaele Florio.
On the 50th anniversary of Anna Magnani's death, Patrizio Rispo with Raffaella Ambrosino and Stefano Sannino pay tribute to the great actress on March 10 with the show "Nannarella 5.0." On March 25, Gianluigi Tosto instead takes us into the world of ancient myth with " Iliad," closing instead with tales and legends about the eruption of Vesuvius in 1660 brought to the stage by Renato Di Meo in "Il respiro del Vesuvio."
